We have an opportunity for a C1 Communications Manager, on a 12 month temporary level transfer to cover maternity leave, to join the Project Delivery Branch of Transport Scotland’s Infrastructure Projects Directorate which leads the delivery of the A9 Dualling Programme. The post reports to the C3 Head of A9 Dualling Programme Delivery. The post holder would be responsible for at least 1 B3 Strategic Communications Manager.

Transport is a vital feature of the Scottish Government’s focus on increasing sustainable economic growth, and transport investments and policies have major impacts on the economy, people, and the environment.

The Scottish Government remains committed to completing the dualling of the A9 between Perth and Inverness. This programme underlines the Scottish Government’s commitment to connecting Scotland’s cities with a high quality transport system that will generate economic growth.
