Job Title: 360 Excavator Operator


Location: Caithness


Type: Permanent


Start: ASAP


Duration: Long Term


Rate: Depending on Experience


Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week (weekends and overtime available)


Corrie Recruitment is currently looking for a number of reliable and motivated 360 Excavator Operators for our client in Caithness and the surrounding areas.


This is an exciting opportunity for long-term permanent work with a well-established client. Benefits include a company vehicle with fuel card.


Key Responsibilities


  • Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently on site

  • Conduct daily machine checks and report any maintenance issues

  • Follow all health & safety guidelines, site procedures and compliance standards

  • Work closely with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines

  • Ensure tasks are carried out accurately and safely in various site conditions

  • Assist plant hauliers with loading and unloading activities

  • Report any accidents, incidents or near-miss events to your Line Manager or Site Supervisor immediately


Requirements


  • Valid CPCS/NPORS ticket

  • Valid UK Driving Licence (trailer entitlement preferred)

  • Proven experience operating tracked machinery

  • Strong awareness of health & safety practices

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and time-management skills

  • Willingness to work throughout Scotland


Salary & Benefits


  • Competitive package (Depending on Experience)

  • Overtime – Monday to Friday: Time & a Third. Saturday: Time & a Half. Sunday: Double Time

  • Subsistence of £25 per night and £20 per day when working away
