2nd Engineers required – Permanent Position – Buoy Tender

Job Description

2 x Second Engineers permanent positions onboard Buoy Tenders servicing and maintaining Scotland’s Lighthouses, Buoys and Beacons.

Home port for the vessels is Oban.

Requirements

• Chief Engineer Unlimited (III/2) COC, or a Second Engineer Unlimited COC with a Chief Engineer endorsement (III/3) will be considered.
• Safety Officer’s Course.
• STCW Proficiency in Designated Security Duties.
• Elementary First Aid.
• Experience with Diesel/Electric powered vessels.
• Valid Basic Safety STCW’s & ENG1 Medical.
• Previous work on Dynamic Positioning vessels would be advantageous.
• UK Work Permit is essential.
