To provide a full efficient and effective booking service to support the delivery of the clinical service and enabling best utilisation of clinical time in connection with NHS Lothian theatre scheduling.

As part of the Inpatient Waiting List Team within NHS Lothian ensures the effective delivery of waiting list management in line with NHS Lothians Standard Operating Procedure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full efficient and effective booking service to support the delivery of the clinical service and enabling best utilisation of clinical time in connection with NHS Lothian theatre scheduling.
  • The post holder has specific responsibility and accountability for all waiting list data for lists they are responsible for and will monitor, collect and analyse waiting list information and will also escalate any issues to the Assistant Waiting List Manager.
  • Work as part of the Inpatient Waiting List Team within NHS Lothian to ensure the effective delivery of waiting list management in line with NHS Lothians Standard Operating Procedure.
