Work Schedule

Monday to Thursday – 15:30 to 18:30, Friday – 15:40 to 18:30.

Salary

As this is a part time post, the salary will be pro rata.

Job Purpose

Responsible for providing a range of domestic services within Clinical / Non Clinical Departments throughout all areas of Hospitals and Health Centres, ensuring compliance with quality standards, Health & Safety, control of infection, Audit Scotland and HAI task force requirements, National Cleaning Services Specification and other requirements as specified by the Division.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate relevant permission to work in the United Kingdom. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

The post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult), an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before the post can commence.

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a “regulated role”, appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Any changes to current requirements will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
