call centre role working from home from Jul 2021 to Nov 2021: I worked as part of a large team on a critical government contract. The main aspect of my role was to call members of the public (who were co-vid positive) to complete sensitive health questionnaires; assessing individual situations and tailoring support to what was required. Highlights of the skills I have gained / enhanced over the course of this role are: GDPR & handling sensitive data; child & adult safeguarding; escalation management; identifying vulnerable contacts; time management; written & verbal communication and managing challenging situations. I worked to the end of my contract.

I was recruited to revitalise and continually improve the supply chain within this furniture manufacturing company while co-ordinating extensive business change projects to facilitate this task. I reviewed processes and procedures throughout the company to improve efficiency and reduce waste and establish accountability in each business area. I managed coordination of the operations planning & forecasting department with all other internal and external stakeholders. I had direct line management responsibility for the distribution team to get finished goods from the end of the production lines to the customer with no surprises for any stakeholder. I managed the team that got lean management accreditation for JTC. I was made redundant

Recruited as a Product Logistics Manager for this electronics manufacturing services company with responsibility for 75 staff and supply chain responsibility for Netgear; Dell; Hewlett Packard and Motorola ensuring this customer owned equipment was received and repaired in a timely and cost-effective manner and returned to the customer within contract pipeline times in an international forum. I was made redundant.

I was recruited to establish a branch in Derby to cater for installation of satellite receiving equipment and to build an initial team of 120 BSKYB engineers and an equivalent sub-contractor base. Being a highly creative and analytical problem solver was specially selected to devise and implement an operational restructuring programme within a 200-man team. This enabled a 15% saving in personnel; a 10% increase in productivity and greatly improved the quality and range of service to the customers. I was made redundant.

| from Sep 1986 to Sep 1998: British armed forces based both in Morayshire and overseas. I joined the RAF with responsibilities for repair support and maintenance scheduling for aircraft and ancillary equipment to exacting standards and within tight deadlines. Being an excellent communicator and motivator, was appointed team and project leader in charge of a specialist team of logistics technicians to revitalise semi-redundant assets. I completed my contract.
