The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly group of RCVS-accredited small animal practices in South Ayrshire.

The practice is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon with first opinion veterinary experience who is keen to become part of an experienced and supportive team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help drive the practice forward while enjoying a strong focus on clinical care, teamwork and professional development.

This is a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week, although part-time applications from candidates able to work a minimum of three days per week are also welcomed.

The role is not suitable for a new graduate and would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who already has experience working in a first opinion small animal practice.

The Rota

The role offers an excellent work-life balance, with a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota and no other weekend or out-of-hours work. Vets Now provides the out-of-hours service, meaning the practice team can enjoy their evenings and weekends.
