Job Description

Step into the heart of our award-winning bakery.As a Bakery Operative you’ll play a key role in producing top-quality products while upholding the highest standards of food safety, quality, hygiene, and health & safety.

• Hours: 39 hours per week
• Days: 5 days from 7 each week
• Shift Times: 06:00am – 14:30
• Pay: £12.74 per hour (increasing after successful probation period)

Your responsibilities will include:

What You’ll Do

• Always working safely and responsibly in line with all Stephens’ policies, procedures and health & safety legislation
• Bread Roll Production
• Pastry Production
• Chaffing Dough
• Cleaning Tins.
• Cleaning production and packing areas to maintain excellent hygiene standards
• Packing and quality inspecting of products.

• Bakery experience is a bonus, but not essential as full training is provided
• Precision and pace are key for success in this role , so you’ll need to be comfortable with standing for long periods, manual handling, and working at a fast pace throughout your shift
