Civils Site Labourer
Job Description
The Clancy Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated Civils Site Labourer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is essential within the construction and T & D (Transmission and Distribution) sector, specifically assisting with civils and groundworks operations at various sites, including substations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting civils and groundworking tasks on construction sites
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of work areas
- Following detailed site instructions from supervisors and site managers
- Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and effectively
- Operating basic tools and equipment as required
- Working collaboratively with other site operatives to ensure project completion
- Conducting site clean-up and waste management
- Providing general labour support on site including lifting, carrying, and manual work
Job Requirements:
- Experience in construction, ideally within substation or utilities environments
- Possession of a valid CSCS card
- First aid certificate is desirable
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures on construction sites
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to travel to different site locations as required
