BISHOPBRIGGS 30 HOURS PER WEEK DAYSHIFT/BACKSHIFT/OVERNIGHT SUPPORT SHIFT PATTERN £13.45 HOURLY RATE

Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity?

Childcare Practitioners have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Childcare Practitioners but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!

Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.

Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Childcare Practitioners work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.

The Best in You Brings Out the Best in Me

The people we support have many varied interests and hobbies and have many of the same dreams and aspirations as we do; they just too often do not get the opportunity to experience these same opportunities. A career with Enable is as rewarding as it is diverse, Personal Assistants at their best have the potential to truly bring out the best in the people we support.

Let us introduceyou to Stephen:

Stephen loves staying at Buttercup House and spending time with his friends. Stephen enjoys going to the park, visiting the zoo and the Transport Museum. Stephen also loves Lego and playing board games and thinks it is really funny when he is playing a game with staff and he wins. Stephen is non-verbal and will communicate using, Makaton, Pec Symbols and Story Boards.

That is why Stephen needs you! Will you bring your best so that Stephen can live his best life?

If you think you share the same interests and have the commitment, dedication, and above all, desire to support Stephen to get the most out of life; then Enable needs you and your values to help us create an equal society for every person we support. You don’t need experience in care to start your social care career with Enable . We recruit people based on their values and transferrable skills. Wherever your journey has taken you up until now, join us, and together we will forge a new path in what could potentially be the most rewarding role you have ever had!
