Field Seismic Network Engineer – Installations & Monitoring

Job Description

UKRI is seeking a Seismic Network Engineer based at BGS Edinburgh to provide on-site field engineering support for the seismic monitoring network. The role involves monitoring real-time data quality and deploying permanent and temporary seismic stations across the UK, with significant travel and physically demanding work.

You will work with geophysical sensors, data loggers, telecoms, power systems, and network hardware, ensuring timely fault resolution and safe operations.
