We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Sales Executive position on behalf of our reputable client based in Glasgow.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused professional to develop their career within a well-established automotive dealership. As a Commercial Sales Executive, you will play a key position in delivering exceptional customer service while consistently achieving sales targets. This permanent position is full-time, working 45 hours per week, reporting directly to the Commercial Sales Manager.

Duties of the Commercial Sales Executive:

  • Achieve and surpass sales targets in line with KPIs for commercial vehicles as a Commercial Sales Executive
  • Utilise available resources to ensure seamless department operations
  • Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships through professional interaction
  • Identify customer needs accurately and recommend suitable products and services
  • Maximise opportunities by upselling accessories, warranties, and financing options
  • Keep comprehensive product knowledge up to date and communicate features confidently
  • Support colleagues and contribute to overall team performance as a Commercial Sales Executive
  • Assist in reducing waste and improving operational efficiencies
  • Maintain relevant FCA qualifications and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Prospect new business opportunities and convert leads into sales

Requirements:

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Proven experience in high-volume vehicle sales, preferably commercial vehicles
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least six months, with fewer than nine penalty points
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Demonstrable ability to prospect and convert profitable business
  • Strong self-management and proactive ownership of responsibilities
  • Resilience, motivation, and a desire for continuous personal development
  • Ability to understand and meet both customer and business requirements
