Facilities Technician – Flexible Shifts & Community Impact

Job Description

City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Facilities Technician on a fixed-term contract until 28 February 2027, based at Leith Academy. The role covers day-to-day FM, janitorial and basic repairs across sites, with flexible shift options and 36 hours per week, in a supportive environment with training and development opportunities.

You’ll work to maintain safe, clean and well-managed buildings, with PVG checks required and salary in the listed band. A robust pension and generous leave are provided.
