Playworker

Job Description

Develop and lead a broad range of play activities which are exciting, stimulating and responsive to the needs of individual children.

Create an atmosphere which generates a sense of belonging for all children attending.

Support the work of colleagues and team work between all staff, children and parents/carers

Collect children by foot from local schools and escort them safely to the service base

Maintain toys, equipment and premises to a clean, safe and hygienic standard.

Work with other staff to set up and clear away furniture, toys and equipment at the beginning and end of each session.
