Outdoor Waste & Recycling Operative (4×4 Shifts)

Job Description

City of Edinburgh Council is recruiting a Waste and Recycling Collection Operative at Sighthill Depot. You will join a dedicated outdoor team delivering a vital city service, collecting household and recycling waste and advising residents.

The role follows a 4×4 shift pattern with training provided. You must be physically fit, able to work in all weather, and follow health and safety procedures. Experience is desirable; SVQ2 in Waste Management is preferred or achievable within 36 months.
