JobPurpose:

Tomaintain the integrity of the CFH Docmail network and endpoints, supporting theLead Analysts with day-to-day duties across the Security, Network and Server& Storage domains.

Youwill be working alongside other technical analysts in the team. You will bemonitoring the current environment, reviewing current processes and recommendingwork that will contribute to the continuous improvement of the network andinformation security.

Reportinginto the Group Head of IT Infrastructure, you will play an integral part inmeeting the department’s service delivery standards, handling tickets, changerequests and project work as assigned to you, which will include hardwarebuilds and configuration, network, platform and security monitoring.

Objectivesof this Role:

Diagnosingand resolving complex infrastructure incidents.

Monitorservers, network performance, and storage utilization to prevent systemdowntime.

Playan active role in system patch management and business continuity testing

Createand maintain network diagrams, asset inventories, and standard operatingprocedures.

Provisionvirtual and physical servers and appliances, setting up user accounts asrequired.

Creatingand maintaining accurate technical documentation and system configurations.

DetailTasks:

Triagealerts from monitoring platforms.

Completehardware builds, both servers and network appliances.

Ensureescalations to the Group IT Infrastructure team from the Group Service Desk aredealt with promptly and accurately.

Followestablished internal processes and keep accurate and meaningful records of allwork carried out across various internal platforms and systems.

Supportcustomers and colleagues with project work, supporting the delivery ofsolutions to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

This is not an entry level roleand the suitable candidate will have experience in working with networking,server and storage (including hypervisor technologies) or IT Securitytechnologies.

Experienceof adminsteringActive Directory and Azure Identity (Entra ID).

Knowledgeof networking conceptsand infrastructure technologies, with the ability to diagnose and resolvetechnical issues.

Have the ability to contributetechnical expertise to projects and service enhancement initiatives.

Have the ability to followdocumented processes and procedures and to deliver work to documentedstandards.

Requirements:

Strong logical and methodicalapproach, especially under pressure.

Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical andnon-technical audiences.

Relevant education, training, orcertifications in Information Technology.

Abide by the rules of theBusiness Management Systems, which apply best practice control with respect toInformation and Physical Security, Quality, Safety, Health and the Environmentand follow the SOPs.
