About the Role

The Agent Maestro is responsible for transforming of operational processes across the Closed Book Pensions business through the adoption of Atos Agentic methodologies and intelligent automation.

This role owns the complete lifecycle of process transformation, taking business processes through a structured framework of:

The Agent Maestro will establish the standards, governance, operating model and execution framework required to transition manual and semi-automated pension administration processes into controlled, compliant, agent-driven services.

Operating within a highly regulated environment, the role will ensure all agentic solutions are designed with governance, risk management, auditability, customer protection and operational resilience embedded from inception. The position acts as the bridge between business operations, technology, risk, compliance and customer governance functions, ensuring alignment with Atos principles of governance-by-design, operational accountability, controlled decision boundaries and human oversight.

Key Responsibilities 1. Agentic Transformation Leadership

  1. Define and own the Closed Book Pension Agentification Framework.
  2. Create a repeatable methodology for identifying, assessing and prioritising candidate processes.
  3. Lead transformation initiatives from current-state assessment through to production deployment.
  4. Establish transformation roadmaps aligned to business strategy, customer outcomes and regulatory obligations.
  5. Drive measurable improvements in cost, quality, productivity, customer experience and risk reduction.
  6. Analyse end-to-end pension administration processes.
  7. Eliminate waste, duplication, complexity and non-value-add activities.
  8. Standardise operational procedures across products and servicing functions.
  9. Design target-state operating models suitable for autonomous and semi-autonomous agent execution.
  10. Define human-agent interaction models and escalation frameworks.
  11. Establish governance frameworks for agentic operations.
  12. Define agent roles, responsibilities, decision rights and control boundaries.
  13. Human-in-the-loop controls
  14. Audit management
  15. Regulatory oversight
  16. Service monitoring
  17. Performance measurement
  18. Create standards for agent lifecycle management.

4. Regulatory & Risk Governance

  1. Ensure all agentic solutions comply with:
  2. FCA Consumer Duty
  3. Operational Resilience requirements
  4. Data Protection regulations
  5. Treating Customers Fairly principles
  6. Outsourcing and third-party governance requirements
  7. Lead risk assessments for all transformation initiatives.
  8. Develop control frameworks and risk mitigation plans.
  9. Define monitoring and assurance requirements.
  10. Support internal audit, risk and compliance reviews.
  11. Design and maintain an Agentic Model Office environment.
  12. Develop testing frameworks covering:
  13. Process accuracy
  14. Operational resilience
  15. Customer outcomes
  16. Regulatory compliance
  17. Exception management
  18. Business continuity
  19. Lead pilot and controlled rollout programmes.

6. Stakeholder Leadership

  1. Engage with Executive Committees, Customer Committees and Transformation Boards.
  2. Build strong partnerships with:

  10. Act as the organisational authority for agentic transformation.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience within pensions administration, life & pensions or regulated financial services.
  • Extensive business transformation leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of operating model design.
  • Expertise in process optimisation methodologies.
  • Experience implementing automation, AI or digital transformation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk and governance frameworks.
  • Experience working within FCA-regulated environments.
