University of Strathclyde invites applications for a Research Associate to join the Ultracold Matter and Quantum Technologies group within the Department of Physics. The role focuses on developing optically pumped atomic quantum sensors for navigation, aiming at compact, portable geomagnetic field sensing that enables accurate navigation bearing in mind Earth’s magnetic anomalies.

The successful candidate will develop experimental capabilities, benchmark new techniques, and contribute to
