Autonomous Orthoptist – Vision Care & Screening Lead

Job Description

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Orthoptist to provide autonomous orthoptic services within an ophthalmic team. You will undertake primary vision screening for the Pre-school Orthoptic led Vision Screening Programme and contribute to discharge planning and onward referrals.

The role requires HCPC registration, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team. Working hours typically 08:30 to 16:12/30.
