A new opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly, well established practice in Bathgate. We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner. The successful candidate will already be working in an ANP role and will be looking to develop the position in a busy but well supported practice. The role will involve seeing acute minor illnesses and urgent care presentations. The successful candidate will be required to assess, diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions and will be confident in their clinical decision making and prescribing skills. We are looking for someone to work 6 sessions which would be either; Monday, Wednesday & Friday or Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Simpson Medical Group has a dedicated and dynamic team. Our stable team comprises of three GP partners, two salaried GPs and a highly skilled nursing team made up of a Practice Nurse and an HCA. There is also excellent support from a strong and friendly team of administration staff.

We are a training practice for GPST and Foundation doctors as well as 6th year medical students.

We also have excellent support from an Advanced Physiotherapist, a Mental Health Nurse, a Primary Care Pharmacist and 2 Pharmacy Technicians.

We also benefit from having a district nursing team, health visitors, midwives, physiotherapists and treatment room nurses all based in the same building as us.

Our practice operates from modern purpose-built premises and is based in Bathgate, West Lothian and we are central to Edinburgh and Glasgow with excellent rail and road links to both.

We provide primary care services to our population of 8,600 patients
