Real Estate Solicitor (English Law) Commercial Real Estate 2-6 Years PQE

Glasgow Hybrid Working

A great opportunity for a Real Estate Solicitor qualified in English law to join an independent, forward-thinking firm in Glasgow, advising commercial clients on the full spectrum of real estate matters, from acquisitions and disposals to leasing and development.

This suits a real estate lawyer who wants early responsibility, values autonomy alongside team support and is looking for a firm that genuinely backs its people to build their own client relationships.

The role

As a Real Estate Solicitor working on English law matters, you’ll provide real estate legal advice to commercial clients across acquisitions, disposals, leasing and development.

Day to day, this includes:

  • Drafting, negotiating and completing sale and purchase contracts and transfers
  • Examining titles and reporting to clients
  • Drafting, negotiating and completing commercial leases
  • Acting for lenders, reporting on borrower certificates of title and completing secured lending transactions
  • Managing your own workload efficiently to meet client and firm objectives
  • Keeping on top of financial control, time recording and billing
  • Supporting colleagues across the wider Real Estate team

About you

This role would suit a Real Estate Solicitor who:

  • Has 2-6 years’ PQE in English commercial real estate conveyancing
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, without unnecessary jargon
  • Enjoys working both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Is confident, personable and skilled at building client relationships
  • Is committed to delivering a good client experience, going the extra mile when needed
