Job Description

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Cleansing Operative to join City Wide Services. The role covers daily street and open space cleaning, environmental inspections and enforcement, and adherence to service standards.

You will use handheld devices to record work, report issues and respond to incidents. The position includes removing litter, leaves, waste, needles and other hazards, and supporting emergency cleanups and weather-related responses.
