Riverside Highland Medical Group is a group of four GP Practices covering both urban and rural locations, with four separate GMS contracts within the Highlands of Scotland
Riverside Medical Practice is in the heart of Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands. Situated on the picturesque River Ness, yet only a stroll from the city centre, it offers a typically vibrant and dynamic urban environment.
Foyers Medical Practice is a small, rural, dispensing practice based on the eastern bank of Loch Ness, 20 miles south west of Inverness.
Cromarty Medical Practice, is also a rural (non-dispensing) practice on the Black Isle, 25 miles to the north-east of Inverness.
Dunedin Medical Practice is also in situated in Inverness.
All practices are located in purpose-built, efficient premises, with great staff.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our team, working in all four practices. We are looking for around 25hrs, but could be flexible for the right candidate.
Experience in a general practice setting is highly desirable but consideration will be given to further training for the right candidate. Ideally the candidate will have certified training in long term condition management.
Candidates should be able to work independently, with the support of the nursing and clinical team. You should be able to work in a flexible manner in a fast faced environment; utilising evidence based nursing knowledge and skills to deliver high standards of person-centred care.
- Salary negotiable with enhancements available for relevant experience and qualifications
- All four surgeries use INPS Vision and Docman
- Five Advanced Nurse Practitioners
- Weekly protected Educational/Clinical Meetings
- Strong MDT teams including pharmacists, physio, PCMHT and community link worker.
- We have a strong interest in medical education with GPST, BBT and regular Aberdeen Uni students
- Seven weeks’ annual leave (including 2 weeks’ public holidays) and one week’s study leave
