Location: Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, ML3 6AD

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 12 hours per week

Contract Type: Holiday Cover with the potential to become Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join our team at a commercial site in Hamilton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking part-time evening and weekend work with a competitive hourly rate.

Working Hours

  • Monday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours)
  • Tuesday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours)
  • Wednesday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours)
  • Thursday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours)
  • Friday: 5:00pm – 7:00pm (2 hours)
  • Saturday: 2:00pm – 4:00pm (2 hours)

Total: 12 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning of commercial premises
  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Cleaning offices, kitchens, washrooms and communal areas
  • Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Locking and securing the premises where required

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
  • Comfortable working independently and as a lone worker
  • Able to work as a key holder and operate an alarm system where required
  • Right to work in the UK (documentation must be presented at induction)
  • Willing to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
