Job Description
Responsibilities
- Play a critical and hands on role refining, enhancing, and growing the investment accounting and regulatory product in the EMEA and APAC regions.
- Work with a small team spread across the UK and India and collaborate with teams in the U.S.
- Help maintain a product strategy and roadmap based on market information and internal collaboration with sales and solutions teams.
- Prioritize strategic initiatives and effectively communicate your vision and strategy to other key stakeholders based on business value.
- Collaborate with product marketing to build value proposition and messaging content and help take the product to market.
- Leverage existing accounting regulatory and financial experience extensively.
- Guide and challenge Product Managers on roadmap priorities.
- Measure and drive product adoption, usage and stability on a monthly basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or technical domains like computer science.
- Demonstrable knowledge of accounting and regulatory reporting within EMEA such as IFRS 9, Solvency II, and ESG.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting treatment for various asset classes, geo specific investment accounting, and/or regulatory reporting guidelines.
- Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Excellent team and relationship building abilities, with both internal and external parties (engineers, business stakeholders, partners, etc.).
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence via diplomacy and tact.
- Prior experience creating new commercial streams/product businesses from scratch is a major plus.
