  • Care Coordinator

    Location: Glasgow (Office-based, must live within 1 hour)

    Salary: £28,500 – £30,000 (DOE) + £100/wk on-call allowance

    Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday (9:00am – 5:00pm) + on-call rota

    The Role

    This is a pivotal, hands-on role supporting the Registered Manager. Moving beyond basic scheduling, you will manage real-time decision-making, ensure efficient rota planning, and maintain exceptional standards of care delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Produce and manage weekly rotas, ensuring all care calls are fully covered.

    • Match Care Workers to Service Users based on needs and compatibility.

    • Respond swiftly to last-minute changes, staff absences, and emergencies.

    • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of Care Workers.

    • Participate in the on-call rota and deputise for the Registered Manager when required.

    Requirements

    • Experience: Proven experience as a Care Coordinator or in a similar scheduling role (ideally within domiciliary care).

    • Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, logical thinking under pressure, and strong IT/communication skills.

    • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is highly desirable.

    • Transport: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
