Production Operative
Location: East Lothian
Pay Rate: 13.50 per hour
Are you looking for a hands-on role within a busy food production environment? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturer for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join their growing team.

The Role
As a Production Operative, you’ll be involved in a variety of production and packing duties, including:

Producing and packing products to a high standard

Operating production and packing equipment safely and efficiently

Filling, sealing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch

Prepping food using specialist equipment

Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet specification

Completing production paperwork accurately

Maintaining excellent housekeeping and hygiene standards
-
Supporting stock control and reporting any shortages or equipment issues

Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
What We’re Looking For

Previous food production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential

A strong work ethic and good attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

A good understanding of hygiene and food safety standards

Comfortable with manual handling duties

Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
