Development Specialist – Young Carers (Substance Use Team)

Job Description

Edinburgh Young Carers is seeking a Development Worker to join the Substance Use Team in Edinburgh. The role focuses on delivering high quality support to young carers aged 5-25 who care for someone affected by alcohol or substance use at home, across a full-time 35-hour week.

The postholder will raise awareness, identify hidden carers, and prepare Young Carers Statements/Adult Carer Support Plans, ensuring personal outcomes are met in line with the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016.
