Job Description

Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, is looking for a Spray Painter to join their production team. This role involves preparing and painting large industrial engines and associated components, ensuring a consistently high-quality finish in line with company and industry standards.

Your Time at Work

  • Prepare engines and components for painting.
  • Apply coatings using industrial spray-painting equipment.
  • Carry out quality inspections on completed work.
  • Apply undercoats and topcoats to specified thickness requirements.
  • Ensure coatings meet relevant industry standards where required.
  • Maintain spray-painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organised.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.

  • Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive spray painting is advantageous.
  • Candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Information and Benefits

  • Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Working Pattern:
  • Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 3:30pm
  • Friday: 6:30am – 12:30pm
  • Temporary contract with the view to go permanent in 6 months.
