Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Dundee are looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.

Turning Point Scotland’s Dundee service provides support to individuals with a variety of support needs including learning disability, physical disability, autism, mental health illness and community justice. We provide supported living services, housing support and day opportunities to promote independence. We also support the development of relationships and the maintenance of a home. We work in partnership with service users, families, health teams, social work teams and advocacy.

Key responsibilities

As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives e.g. keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• No previous working experience required; full training will be provided.
• IT skills are required for all vacancies.
• Registration with SSSC within 6 months of start date, where applicable.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom; not able to sponsor visas.
• Salary matching opportunity within pay points of the role and based on experience.
