Job Description
At The Caledonian Edinburgh, exceptional luxury service continues throughout the night. We are seeking aNight Manager to lead overnight operations, ensuring guest safety, service excellence and seamless hotel performance after hours.
The Person
- A confident and composed leader with a passion for luxury hospitality
- Guest-focused, professional and calm under pressure
- Strong decision-maker with sound judgement overnight
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Flexible and comfortable working night shifts.
The Role
- Lead the Front Office Night Team in delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Act as the senior management representative overnight
- Maintain luxury service standards, safety and security at all times
- Oversee night audit, reporting and operational continuity
- Ensure smooth handovers to the daytime management team
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise overnight Front Office operations and team rotas
- Serve as point of contact for guests, VIPs and emergencies
- Complete night audit procedures and financial controls
- Monitor hotel security, conduct night walks and safety checks
- Manage incidents, guest concerns and overnight reporting
