Job Introduction
Join Sodexo as a Cleaner/Porter at Newbold Revel Training College, supporting the delivery of high quality cleaning services across this important training environment. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming setting for staff, learners, and visitors.
You’ll be responsible for a range of general cleaning duties throughout the college, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard. Working closely with the onsite team, your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will help create a positive environment where people can learn, work, and develop.
Newbold Revel Training College provides a professional learning environment, and this role offers the opportunity to be part of a team that plays a vital role in supporting the day to day experience of everyone who uses the site. Your work will make a real difference by helping to maintain a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for all.
What you’ll do:
- Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks across various sites.
- Travel between locations using a company provided vehicle and fuel card.
- Manage your own schedule and take ownership of your tasks, ensuring everything is completed within the required timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other departments-so if you’re a people person with a full UK driving licence, we’d love to hear from you!
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas, including offices, kitchens, toilets, and communal spaces.
- Restock essential supplies like toilet paper, hand soap, and sanitiser.
- Be a proactive advocate for health and safety procedures at all times.
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable, along with knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate uses.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work efficiently, adapt quickly, and keep up in a fast paced environment.
- A positive, team oriented attitude and a willingness to follow direction when needed.
