Molecular Pathology Lab Assistant Practitioner – PCR & NGS

Job Description

NHS Lothian is seeking an Assistant Practitioner (Band 4) based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. The role involves providing essential support to the Molecular Pathology Service and opportunities to train in PCR, Sanger sequencing, RT-PCR and NGS.

Applicants should have NHS laboratory bench experience, good interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. PVG checks apply; part-time consideration may be possible.
