Job Overview
Customer Delivery Driver – part time, permanent, based in Galashiels, Asda. Shift: Afternoons. 22.5 hours per week. Pay: £13.10 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Load goods into the van and deliver products to customers’ front doors.
- Maintain the van in a clean, safe, and ready condition between deliveries.
- Assist the store team with picking and packing online orders during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Asda’s values on the road.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic), held for at least 12 months and with no more than six penalty points.
- Friendly and helpful attitude toward customers.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and to undertake training as required.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Capability to work in a fast paced customer service environment.
