Location – Health Centres-Eyemouth/Duns

Specialist Physiotherapist – Musculoskeletal Outpatients

Fixed term contract for 12 months

We require experienced, highly motivated musculoskeletal physiotherapists to work within our team. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good organisation, time management, problem solving and prioritisation skills.

As an MSK physiotherapist, you shall be assessing and treating patients referred into outpatient departments within the Borders. You will be based in Eyemouth/Duns Health Centre.

Responsibilities

The post holder will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with a wide range of problems in outpatients. You shall work as an autonomous practitioner, developing appropriate packages of care, providing specialist clinical / professional advice to patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals. You will also be expected to supervise rotational junior staff and students on placements.

The post holder will contribute to service development to improve quality of healthcare through liaison with your Line Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

To work in the United Kingdom, you must demonstrate that you have the right to work in the country. This permission is granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
