Overview

Penicuik Medical Practice is a busy semi rural practice in Midlothian with 7 GP partners and a full complement of clinical and administrative staff. The practice has a list size of approximately 11,800 patients and operates from a purpose built health centre in Penicuik. We are a forward thinking training practice and are fully computerised, therefore you should be competent in using a computer.

Responsibilities

Full time position in the Reception Team – Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 with occasional late shift on a rota basis. Responsible for dealing with patients and other health care professionals who use our service.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a medical practice is preferred but not essential as training can be given. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to use computer systems comfortably.
