Job Overview

Domestic Assistant/Porter for the General Service Department at Stow Health Centre. Hours: Monday to Friday, 11.30 – 14.00. 2 12.5 hour posts, with hours varying. The post is a full time or part time position within the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.

Responsibilities

Provide domestic cleaning activities to support the clinic and department. Demonstrate competence, flexibility, and knowledge of NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.

Qualifications

• High level of competence in domestic cleaning activities.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing schedules.
• Knowledge of the NHS Borders Behavioural Framework.

Additional Information

As from 1st April 2026 the Agenda for Change full time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata yet hourly rates will be increased so pay is unchanged.
