Finance Analyst, Aberdeen

Overview

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support the Annual Plan process, performance reporting, and analysis. The role requires proactive engagement with the business to ensure accurate forecasts and delivery on time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Annual Plan process, performance reporting and analysis.
  • Compile the Financial Plan and monthly LV’s with insightful performance reporting.
  • Support the Forecasting & Reporting Manager on shareholder reporting using key systems (BPC Planning, ERP, BW, BPC Consolidation, Power BI).
  • Deliver timely management reporting for actuals and forecast, leveraging ERP, BW, BPC Consolidation, BPC Planning and Power BI.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, forecasting and reporting to meet finance and business stakeholder requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in data analytics and financial tools (SAP, BW, BPC, Excel) with ability to extract, maintain and analyse data.
  • Strong critical thinking; ability to make decisions based on sound logic and challenge assumptions.
  • Experience in process excellence through automation and efficiency improvement.
  • Excellent collaboration skills; ability to build effective working relationships across teams and organization.
  • Strong personal accountability and ability to drive delivery of own goals.
  • Accounting qualification preferred (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS).

  • Hybrid working arrangement: 4 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday plus one optional day) and remaining days remote.
  • Contract position through to 18th December 2026 with PAYE contract rate.
