Food & Beverage Assistant – IKEA
Overview
The Food & Beverage Assistant supports everyday dining operations, serving guests, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing foods. The role focuses on creating memorable customer experiences and upholding safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests, taking payments and processing orders.
- Prepare food items and assist other team members as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and food preparation areas.
- Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Listen to customer feedback and take appropriate actions to improve service.
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and understanding of individual contribution to overall performance.
- Organized, detail oriented approach to tasks.
Working Conditions
- Start date: 15th August 2026.
- Hours: 16-24 hours per week, 4-5 days a week, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.
- Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour.
