Food & Beverage Assistant – IKEA

Overview

The Food & Beverage Assistant supports everyday dining operations, serving guests, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing foods. The role focuses on creating memorable customer experiences and upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests, taking payments and processing orders.
  • Prepare food items and assist other team members as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and food preparation areas.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Listen to customer feedback and take appropriate actions to improve service.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills and understanding of individual contribution to overall performance.
  • Organized, detail oriented approach to tasks.

Working Conditions

  • Start date: 15th August 2026.
  • Hours: 16-24 hours per week, 4-5 days a week, including late evenings and 3 out of 4 weekends.
  • Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour.
