Riverview Medical Centre – Practice Nurse Vacancy
Riverview Medical Centre, located at 6 8 George Street, Johnstone, PA5 8SL, is looking to recruit a proactive and motivated Practice Nurse to join our welcoming and supportive team in Renfrewshire. The practice has three partners, two salaried GPs and a patient list of 5,800, with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacy, physiotherapy, phlebotomy and healthcare assistants.
Hours
- 16 hours initially, with a view to increasing to 20 hours per week as the patient list grows.
- Working pattern and days are negotiable, but an 8:00 am start on both working days is required.
Ideal Candidate
- NMC registration with up to date revalidation.
- Experience working as a Practice Nurse within a GP setting (desirable).
- Experience in Chronic Disease Management (desirable).
- Proficient in cervical cytology and health promotion.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient centred approach to care.
- IT skills – familiarity with Vision 3 and Docman is preferred; training will be provided.
Salary will be dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Start date: Early September, with flexibility to wait for the right candidate.
