We are hiring! Pirtek Aberdeen, under new management, is looking for outgoing and competitive Mobile Sales and Service Technicians (MSST) to provide on site hydraulic hose repair and replacement services in the Aberdeen area. The role requires a self motivated individual who can work well as part of a team, is willing to work an after hours call out roster on a 24 hour basis (including weekends and bank holidays), holds a full UK driving licence and agrees to an online driving licence check. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical plant or engineering background and we will offer training for the right person.

Key Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide professional on site hose replacement service to Pirtek customers.
  • Actively promote Pirtek products and services throughout the assigned territory.
  • Participate in a 24 hour “on call” rota with other franchise technicians.
  • Maintain highest levels of health and safety practice, including mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
  • Manage the Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSSU):
    • Maintain sufficient stock levels according to the franchise supplied stock list.
    • Perform routine maintenance checks in accordance with the MSSU defect checklist.
    • Keep the MSSU clean and tidy inside and outside.
    • Manage Pirtek supplied documentation, including technical and procedural updates.
    • Attend Pirtek training courses as requested by management.
    • Provide assistance to Centre staff within the franchise when requested.
    • Uphold good personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and procedures.

Work Experience

  • Background in plant or motor trade or experience with hydraulics.
  • Experience in a technical or engineering environment is advantageous but not essential.

Educational Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • GCSE in English and Maths.
