Role Summary
The Finance Operational Analysis role supports manufacturing and production functions in Chivas Brothers by providing financial analysis, reporting, forecasting and business support across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Reporting and Monitoring: Support operational teams with financial analysis and insights for key activities such as Cost to Serve and Logistics, identify cost saving opportunities, coordinate key financial processes, and partner with Customer Service & Logistics teams.
- Forecasting and Planning: Lead freight standard costing and annual COGS forecasting, and support planning cycles with data preparation and communication to senior stakeholders.
- Operational & Business Support: Prepare monthly analysis and reporting for Customer Service & Logistics, deliver accurate and timely reporting, and produce commentary and variance analysis for performance reviews.
- Operational Initiatives: Consolidate and report on Operational Excellence initiatives, including financial and non financial savings aligned with group targets.
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent.
- Fully qualified or in later stages of a recognised accountancy qualification.
- Knowledge and experience in a wide range of accounting techniques and their application.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Highly skilled in spreadsheet and database management.
- Ability to develop relationships effectively to provide reliable customer service.
