Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Estimated Compensation Range: Base salary of $80,000 – $110,000

Job Overview

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, inventory accuracy, and timely distribution of product. This role manages staff, maintains safety standards, and coordinates logistics to support business operations.

Key Duties

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of product
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of critical service parts while minimizing excess stock
  • Align materials planning with demand to improve parts availability, reduce repeat visits, and increase accuracy
  • Identify high-usage parts and optimize stocking strategies
  • Perform regular audits, cycle counts, and ensure accuracy of stock records
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and workflows
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff
  • Work with SHEQ to ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transportation teams, and internal departments
  • Negotiate with vendors as needed to optimize storage needs and costs
  • Monitor performance metrics and prepare operational reports
  • Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout
  • Resolve any operational issues or delays in shipping/receiving
  • Manage budgets, labor costs, and equipment maintenance

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of previous management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree desired
  • Demonstrated experience leading warehouse operations and logistics management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory software
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
