Overview
Do you want to play a pivotal role in the professional rugby pathway as Glasgow Warriors Academy Physiotherapist? Based at Scotstoun Stadium you will support the Pro Academy squad through clinical excellence, injury prevention and elite rehabilitation. You will also contribute to the national game by helping deliver medical support for the Scotland U20 national age grade programme throughout the season.
Responsibilities
- Drive clinical excellence across the Glasgow Warriors Pro Academy medical programme.
- Lead on injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for academy players.
- Support athletes’ progression within the professional rugby pathway through high-quality physiotherapy delivery.
- Contribute to medical support for the Scotland U20 national age grade programme during the season.
Qualifications
- Professional qualifications and registrations, including HCPC registration, CSP membership, and a BSc in Physiotherapy.
- Valid Level 3 trauma certification
- Bring at least 3 years’ experience in sports physiotherapy, ideally within high-performance or elite sport settings.
- Desirable experience includes ACPSEM membership, a relevant postgraduate qualification or working towards one, and direct exposure to elite professional rugby environment
