Retail Assistant – Part Time Job Details
- Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week.
- Pay: £10.95-£12.81 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Saltcoats, North Ayrshire. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days each week, including weekends.
Pay & Benefits

- Ages 21+: £12.81 per hour

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Give fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a positive impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
- Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and on shelves ready for customers.
- Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
Qualifications
- A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
- Enjoy being busy as there is always something to do; jump between deliveries, till, shop floor, cleaning, stock rotation routines and more.
- Reliable, as an important part of a small team; customers and colleagues will depend upon you to do your best on each shift and not let the team down.
- A bit of flexibility with shifts; can cover different hours to cover for colleagues during holidays; rota planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside work considered.
