Overview

Position: Systems Accountant

Location: Aberdeen

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Accountant to support finance systems, process improvements, and project implementations within a complex business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for finance systems and month-end activities
  • Troubleshoot financial system issues and coordinate solutions
  • Support SAP FI/CO/JV enhancements and system improvements
  • Participate in finance-related transformation and project activities
  • Improve reporting processes and automated reporting solutions
  • Deliver user training and support
  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and audit readiness

Required Experience

  • Extensive SAP ERP experience, including SAP FI/CO/JV
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Experience supporting ERP system implementations and enhancements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Previous Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
