Job Description
Overview
- Assessing supplier capabilities through remote or onsite QMS and manufacturing process audits
- Monitoring supplier quality KPIs and risk scorecards, using quality data to determine re-evaluation requirements and improvement actions
- Managing supplier corrective action requests and, where needed, engaging with suppliers to mentor them with root cause investigations and help determine effective corrective actions resulting from product non-conformances
- Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the OFSE portfolio of Product Lines to resolve supplier-caused problems
Requirements
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a Technical discipline, or have equivalent industry experience.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
- Be available to travel approximately 30% of the time to suppliers domestically and across the European region.
- Be someone who can solve diverse and complex problems
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
