  • Coordinate between external stakeholders/partners and the bank to deliver joint projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver thought leadership and insights to inform strategic decision making, identifying emerging technologies and trends through regular research.
  • Develop and manage key metrics for partnerships, innovation initiatives and impact, including ROI, and identify potential risks and issues.

Technical, Governance & Reporting

  • Technical understanding across emerging technologies-including AI-and practical experience operating in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Governance & reporting: solid grasp of Barclays control framework including data management, legal and compliance controls; ability to produce clear, governance-aligned operational reporting.

Analyst Expectations

  • Perform prescribed activities in a timely, high-quality manner and continuously look for improvements.
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of the area of expertise; lead or contribute as appropriate.
  • Support cross-functional teams, manage work requirements and coordinate resources.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviours where applicable and develop technical expertise in the work area, acting as an advisor when appropriate.
  • Partner with other functions and business areas; take responsibility for end results of a team’s operational processing and activities.
  • Escalate breaches of policies or procedures appropriately and embed new policies adopted due to risk mitigation.
  • Advise and influence decision making within own area of expertise; manage risk and strengthen controls in relation to your work.
  • Maintain understanding of how your sub-function integrates with the wider organisation and products, services and processes.
