Overview
Role focused on building and developing strong relationships with clients, trustees, and advisers; retaining assets and increasing revenue; building a network within Workplace Distribution and the wider business; delivering client plans and engagement strategies to maximise profitability; monitoring marketplace changes and identifying opportunities while assessing risks to client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Building and developing strong relationships, working in partnership with clients, trustees, and advisers.
- Retaining existing assets and delivering opportunities to increase revenue and broaden relationships across the Standard Life business.
- Internally building a strong network within Workplace Distribution and the wider business.
- Creating and delivering client plans and maintaining communication and engagement strategies to maximise profitability.
- Monitoring marketplace changes and identifying opportunities while assessing risks or potential threats to client relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in relationship management with a track record of delivering against plan, ideally in a pensions environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships to drive projects forward.
- Commercially driven and highly responsive, focused on adding value and achieving goals and business objectives.
- Sound knowledge of DC pensions (both trust and contract plans), including awareness of leading providers, major consultancies, and market trends.
- Developing understanding of market, legislative, and industry practices.
