Sprinkler Service Engineer
Job Description
Hall & Kay is a leading provider of complex fire protection and security solutions in the UK. We design, supply, install, test and maintain sprinkler, gas suppression, fire detection and integrated security systems, drawing on over 140 years of project delivery experience.
We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to be responsible for preventive maintenance (PPM) and servicing of sprinkler systems.
Responsibilities
- PPM and small works projects across a few buildings
- Servicing all types of valve sets
- Carrying out 5 point flow tests on fire pumps
- Conducting general service checks
Qualifications
- Experience servicing wet, dry, alternate, deluge and pre action valve sets (essential)
- Experience carrying out 5 point flow tests on sprinkler fire pumps and general service checks (essential)
- Plumbing/piping knowledge and fault finding on sprinkler systems (essential)
- Full UK driving licence covering a regional role (essential)
- Sprinkler installation Level 2 qualification (desirable)
- Previous experience in commercial/industrial building environments (desirable)
- Experience in small works installation (desirable)
- Understanding of electronic reporting (desirable)
